Supporting Animal Health and Welfare

As the first veterinary surgeon elected to the House of Commons since 1884, I am passionate about animal health and welfare. In the United Kingdom, we have some of the highest animal welfare standards in the world, but we can always do more. Animal welfare unites us in humanity across Parliament and I will work cross party with stakeholders and animal charities to improve the welfare of animals, both domestic and wild.
