Dr Neil Hudson, MP for Epping Forest, joined Epping Forest residents on Sunday 6th July at two much-loved annual community events: the Epping Town Show and the Jessel Green Community Fun Day.
Despite the mixed weather, the Jessel Green Community Fun Day celebrated its seventh year and drew in large crowds from Loughton and the surrounding areas. The event included a variety of entertainment, food, drinks and activities suitable for all ages.
At the Epping Town Show, held at Stonards Hill Recreation Ground, Dr Hudson enjoyed meeting residents and visitors, including guests from Eppingen, Germany - Epping’s twin town.
Dr Neil Hudson, MP for Epping Forest, said:
“It was a privilege to attend both the Jessel Green Community Fun Day and the Epping Town Show.
“These events really highlight the brilliant community spirit here in Epping Forest.
“My sincere thanks go to Epping Town Council and Loughton Town Council, alongside all the organisers and volunteers who helped make the events such a success. As Crowded House like to sing, it really was ‘four seasons in one day’ weather-wise, but it didn’t deter folk supporting our wonderful community events!”
