Dr Neil Hudson, MP for Epping Forest, recently visited Upshire Primary Foundation School in Waltham Abbey, where he was warmly welcomed by the school’s business manager, Mrs Julie Hockley, for a tour of the school and a special engagement with Year 3 pupils.
During the visit, Dr Hudson had the opportunity to explore the school’s unique stationary train located on the grounds and praised the imaginative feature of the school’s environment. Dr Hudson heard about the school’s exciting and innovative plans to transform the decommissioned train into a space for learning, after-school clubs, and community activities.
The visit also included a lively Q&A session with Year 3 pupils, where Dr Hudson spoke about his role as a Member of Parliament and shared insights into the work he does representing the Epping Forest constituency, alongside his background as a veterinary surgeon.
