Dr Neil Hudson, MP for Penrith and The Border and Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Commons Select Committee member, has joined forces with other members of this cross-party Committee to table an amendment to the Agriculture Bill.
I am deeply concerned about the situation regarding Newton Rigg. It is disappointing news that Askham Bryan has requested the Further Education Commissioner to undertake a formal Local Provision Needs Analysis.

Following the General Election, 5 out of the 6 Cumbrian Parliamentary seats returned Conservative MP’s. We all very much believe that many of the issues we face as a County should be worked through for the benefit of all.
