Protecting Agriculture and our Environment

Neil & Farmer in cow shed

In the UK, we have the best farmers and highest standards of animal welfare in the world. Farming can and should be profitable and sustainable, with animal welfare at its heart.

I will do everything I can to boost the economy, whilst protecting our beautiful and fragile environment. Only by good stewardship can we protect and nurture the British countryside and its way of life for our children and generations to come. I will work with Community Groups, Councils and Government Agencies to try to improve our resilience and protection from environmental challenges such as flooding and climate change.
