I am delighted at the announcement from Ofqual and the Government that A-Level And GCSE students will be given their grades based on teacher estimates rather than the algorithm, whichever is the higher.

Cumbria bolstered by 53 extra police officers

Dr Neil Hudson, MP for Penrith and The Border, has welcomed the announcement that Cumbria has been bolstered by an additional 53 officers since the Government launched its major recruitment drive in September 2019.
